An investment of $14 billion a year over the next decade can eliminate 45 million tons of food waste each year. That translates into a reduction of 75 million tons of greenhouse gases – the equivalent of taking 16 million cars off the road each year.
ReFED is a resource partner for the public-private partnership working to create a less wasteful food system – with the goal of making significant reductions in carbon emissions and contributing to the health and economic success of the West Coast region.
